  2. As you travel further north, check out San Juan Island. Leave on the ferry from Anacortes WA and land 1.5 hours later in Friday Harbor, SJI. Walk/drive up Spring Street. Visit South Beach. Drive to Lime Kiln park and watch the whales.

  4. There's another great tulip festival every spring in Pella, Iowa, just east of Des Moines on SR 163.

  7. Also if you are traveling North to Anacortes, there are hundreds of acres of tulips and spring flowers. You must go to La Conner, which is the tulip capital in the country. We produce more bulbs than any where else.And you will love La Conner. Sandy
