In 2008 I lost my job. I then bought an RV and went on a three year road trip that took me to all of the lower 48 states, to 5 provinces in Canada, and I spent 3 months in the winter in Mexico. I then returned home for my 50th birthday in June 2011. This blog is a record of this amazing road adventure and I hope you enjoy every mile of my trip. See my previous blog at bellaandtheroad.blogspot.com and any questions or comments, please email me at HerTinkerbell(at)yahoo(dot)com
Between the giant artichoke and garlic world I can just here what Bill Brysons words would sound like if he was to drive along this road.
ReplyDeleteMight like the deep fried artichoke hearts, very yummy :-)
ReplyDeleteI can't quite convince myself these are worth trying. Heidi has been selling to concept to me that they are like crab or lobster when dipped in butter...Yeah, sure they are....
ReplyDeleteWhere are my circus peanuts?!

You have to try them. Delish!!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Mar on this one. I don't care for artichoke leaves at all, but deep fried artichoke hearts are to die for. Have a little ranch dressing handy, as a dipping sauce.
ReplyDeleteThat sauce they give you at the restaurant is amazing too!!
ReplyDelete(Thanks for stopping by Jim :-)
