Since I don’t know how to take pictures of distant, lighted, moving objects at night, these blurry shots is what I ended up with, sorry. But I can tell you that it was a pretty parade with each boat playing a different Christmas song, and the boats were creatively decorated. The people on the boats sure seemed to be having a lot of fun too.
In 2008 I lost my job. I then bought an RV and went on a three year road trip that took me to all of the lower 48 states, to 5 provinces in Canada, and I spent 3 months in the winter in Mexico. I then returned home for my 50th birthday in June 2011. This blog is a record of this amazing road adventure and I hope you enjoy every mile of my trip. Quartzsite, Arizona (click here for more info)
Serendipity allowed me to finally get to meet in person some of my online friends and fellow travelers. I was delighted to camp with them in Quartzsite. I got to check out their awesome rigs, share a great cup of coffee, and meet their sock monkey families.
