In 2008 I lost my job. I then bought an RV and went on a three year road trip that took me to all of the lower 48 states, to 5 provinces in Canada, and I spent 3 months in the winter in Mexico. I then returned home for my 50th birthday in June 2011. This blog is a record of this amazing road adventure and I hope you enjoy every mile of my trip. i know i say this alot but again, thank you mar.we used to travel between missouri and california and i have been to all these places and the memories you have reminded me of are my best.traveling 1500 miles (at least) twice a year with my mom and sister and usually some other family or friend was great.
I can't wait to see the painted desert! I also want to visit the old Ghost towns on Route 66... for some reason I have always been in love with the history of it and I haven't even been on it... YET! thanks for posting all of these awesome photos.
I drove the whole length of Route 66 last December. If you look back here on the blog, you'll see my pictures, from Chicago IL to Santa Monica CA. It was a great trip.
