In 2008 I lost my job. I then bought an RV and went on a three year road trip that took me to all of the lower 48 states, to 5 provinces in Canada, and I spent 3 months in the winter in Mexico. I then returned home for my 50th birthday in June 2011. This blog is a record of this amazing road adventure and I hope you enjoy every mile of my trip. Neat thing to do, and you did make the extreme sacrifice. I can tell you LOVE to have your picture taken! LOL I enjoy keeping up with your travels. /Carol from Central FL
That is the most unselfish thing you could do. I wish you a Merry Christmas. I feel sad that you are so alone and the holidays here. But keep trucking, the best is yet to come. I enjoy your notes and pictures.
The good thing about hair is that it will grow back. Think of how happy you are going to make someone feel that has lost their hair. I had a cousin that died of cancer she had lost all of her hair. One day we went wig shopping and she found a wig that matched her perfectly. Her face lit up when she put that wig on and for a while she felt normal. You have done a great thing. Plus now you don't have to mess with your hair!! I have enjoyed reading about your adventures. Happy Holidays

Thank you everyone! I do like my short hair. I'm starting to get used to it now and I love how easy it is to take care of. I am no longer startled when I look in the mirror now :-)
